Yesterday’s and today’s blog.
Yesterday I watched ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ at MidValley Megamall. Thought it was an interesting show, but my prudity shone true when I cringed at certain scenes. Not that I think kissing is uncool, but hellooo? Old people kissing? No way. Not that Keanu Reeves wasn’t cute, but what’s with the disappearing act at the end of the show? Helloooo, you can’t just drop a cutie pie outta the show just like that.
Its like 2.15 am in the morning now, I am awake helping my baby complete his assignment.
We bought a pair of Adidas Superstars today, my absolute favourite pair of shoes, but funnily, it was for him. Long story. Let me start from the very beginning.
It started one day when I noticed my classmate wearing this pair of shoes I have been eyeing for quite some time, mainly because I thought it looked good. Tried it on, and voila! I fell in love with it. Tried to convince my baby that it was the most magnificent pair of shoes ever, but he hated it. Liked the Nike Cortez instead, that bozo. (Sorry honey!). Anyway, I didn’t really like the Nikes but decided to comply to his wishes since he planned to get me a pair. I was to get the Superstars myself. So today, seeing that we had the resources, we decided to splurge seeing that it was soon to be our one year anniversary.
We had sushi, yumm. We spent time surfing the net at the cybercafe nearby. We watched that movie, we went window shopping. Then that crazy bozo tried to surprise me by ‘trying’ to get me a pair of Nikes but alas! to his dismay, no shop in MidValley carried my size. So, while exploring, we stumbled upon a pair of Superstars (remember how I said he loathed that pair!) which he immediately got attracted to because of its colour. I convinced him to try it on, triumphant that he finally ‘saw’ things my way. Lo and behold! the bozo claimed it was really as wonderfully comfortable as I had said it would be. Initially he thought I was being my shallow self, looking at the exterior of things only. Butttt nooooooo…. I am not like thatttt…=) anyway I was really glad he likes them too now, because I like to share the good stuff!
So..as the long story goes, seeing that it was my one and only chance of making him like the pair as much as I did, we bought them. Oh that and the reason that it was the one and only pair left in that colour in the whole of MidValley. My baby loves to be different, yo.
In short, I am way glad that he has them now. I am looking forward to owning my own pair soon.
Random thought of the day:
The difference between sexy and kinky is: When you do it with a feather, its sexy. When you do it with a whole chicken, that’s kinky for ya. Adieu people!
